Why children's books?

Having read books to my children when they were little and now continuing to read them to my grandkids, I find that children's books create an impact that last. So when I began to write Eva of the Beasts I wanted to create not only an entertaining book but one that provides life lessons. Big goal, for sure but one that I believe is important.
